秋田の稲作 A rice crop in Akita.

秋田は毎日暑いです。

そんな秋田は今、田植えの時期です。

Akita has hot weather everyday.

Now, the planting season for rice has come.

田んぼにはいろいろな生き物がいて、夜になると蛙が一斉に鳴き始めます。

蛙の声を聞きながら寝るのはとても心地いいです。

There are various creatures in a rice field, and frogs start croaking at night.

It is very comfortable to sleep while hearing the cry of frogs.

秋田の米といえば、『あきたこまち』ですね！

炊きたてはもちろん、冷めてもおいしいです。粘りもあります。

You cańt talk about Akitás rice without mentioning　“Akita Komachi”
It is tasty freshly cooked and even cold.
It has a sticky texture.

私も小さい頃からずっとあきたこまちを食べてきました。

I have been eating “Akita Komchi”since I was a child.

これからどんどん大きくなって、立派な稲穂に育つことでしょう！

そして私たちは秋になるとおいしいお米を食べることができます！！

The stalks will become bigger and grow up into splendid ears of rice.

And we can eat the delicious rice in autumn.
