Akita International Dahlia Garden 秋田国際ダリア園

この間行ってきた、ダリア園について紹介します！

Let me introduce the dahlia garden which I went to the other day. 

秋田市の雄和にあるダリア園では、世界14カ国から集められた1250種ものダリアが咲き誇っているそうです。

There is a dahlia garden in Yuwa, Akita City. Dahlias of 1,250 varieties collected from 14 countries of the world are in full bloom. 

秋田空港から車でおよそ3分のところにありますが、秋田市内からは少し遠いところにあります・・・。

It takes about three minutes by car from Akita Airport, but it is slightly farther when going from Akita City.

私が行ったときは、まだほとんど咲いていませんでしたが、丘一面に咲くダリアは、まさに豪華絢爛！絶景です(>_<)

When I went, they were hardly in bloom, but the dahlias blooming all over the hillside were gorgeous! It was a superb view (>_<)

ダリアといえば、秋田県のオリジナル品種であるダリア「NAMAHAGE」シリーズがおすすめです！

Speaking of dahlia, I recommend the Namahage series of dahlia, which is an original variety found in Akita.

インパクトのある名前に負けず劣らず、とてもきれいな花です。

8月中旬から11月上旬まで、花が楽しめるので、皆さんもぜひ行ってみてください(^^)
The flower is equally beautiful to the impact of its name. We can enjoy the dahlia from the middle of August to the beginning of November. Everyone, please go too!
